It started with
a practical question.
A Swiss startup's financing round shows up in the official gazette as a capital increase, often before the press release. But the entries are legal text, there are thousands a year, and most capital increases are not rounds at all: converted loans, reserves, restructurings.
From an idea
to a working product.
I built Kapitalradar end-to-end with Claude Code: a parser that rebuilds each company's capital history from the gazette, rules plus a Claude classifier that score every increase, automatic confirmation against public round announcements, and a site where every view is a dated record you can rewind. Precision and recall are measured on hand-labelled samples and published with their uncertainty.
